Belinda Kay Davis

Belinda Kay Davis, 57, of Bridge City, passed away on March 31, 2020.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on May 15, 1962, she was the daughter of Emily Yvonne (Nation) Green. Belinda was extremely creative and enjoyed drawing, coloring, painting, crocheting, and writing poems. She was a great mother, and her grandchildren were her number one priority. Belinda was a great cook and loved music, dancing every chance she could get. Through her big heart and nurturing & kind soul, she took in everyone she met and acted as a mother to all. In even the worst situations, you could count on Belinda to make light of the dark, and to cheer anyone up no matter the circumstance. Through all of her storms, she found great comfort in reading the Bible. Belinda was always straightforward but never mean and had love to go around for everyone. She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she impacted.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Jeremiah Davis; daughter, Rebecca Gertrude; grandson, Nicolas Robert; father, Phillip Green; nephew, Shelby LeBlanc; grandmother, Gertrude Goode; and grandfather, Floyd “Buddy” Goode.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Wayne Davis; mother, Emily Yvonne Green; children, Rachel Oliver and husband Michael of Bridge City, Elijah “Twin” Davis and wife Vanessa of Orange, and Joshua Davis of Orange; grandchildren, Draven Oliver, Abigail Oliver, Jaden Davis, Jeremiah Davis, Gabriel Ramb, Robert Ramsey, Nakona Ramsey, Temperance Ramsey, and Jesse Scott; siblings, Tanya Faulk and husband Keith, Karen Saucier and husband Jade, and Cory Green and wife Lea; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
