Andrew Buren Palmer

Andrew Buren Palmer, 52, of Vinton, passed away on March 16, 2021, in Beaumont after bravely battling pancreatic cancer.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Orange, Texas, on July 15, 1968, he was the son of Norvin Deryl Palmer and Jerrie Jean (Dudley) Palmer. Andrew met and married his sweetheart, Stephanie at the Texas Pelican Bingo Hall. Together they built a life they loved, and a family they cherished. Andrew worked as a carpenter for Palmer Home Builders for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing the harmonica and listening to old country music. Andrew loved to sit by the campfire and host barbeques on the weekend. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends and took great joy in every second he spent with them. Andrew was a wonderful husband, a caring son, a loving father and a fun grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norvin Palmer; brothers, Ricky Palmer and Marty McCormick; and nephew, Justin Brewer.

He is survived by the love of his life, his beloved wife of 21 years, Stephanie Palmer; mother, Jerrie Palmer; children, Dru LeBlanc of Buna and David Pedder, III and wife Sara of Silsbee; 10 grandchildren; and siblings, Diann Brodnax and husband Bruce of Orange, Barbara King and husband Bob of South Dakota, Deryl Wayne Palmer and wife Bobbi of New Mexico, Glen McCormick of Orange, and Carol McCormick of New Mexico; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
