Sharon Evette Simon

March 1, 1967 — July 21, 2017

Sharon Evette Simon was born the youngest child of Rufus and Irma Simon, on March 1, 1967, in Beaumont, Texas. She was reared in a loving, Christian family as a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. She later attended and became a member of Church of the Redeemer. Sharon loved the Lord Jesus and made sure her children had a deep relationship with Him as well. She made sure her kids knew and counted the blessings of God. Sharon was active in school as a cheerleader at Odom Jr. High and a member of the marching band, at Hebert High and West Brook High Schools, where she played the flute. She was always very sweet, popular, and a joy to be around. Later, Sharon married and had two beautiful children, Xavier Miles Hardison and Jasmin Simone Hardison, whom she was immensely proud of and loved deeply. She took care of her life with great precision; her neat and orderly ways were an inspiration to others in her personal and professional life. She was a paralegal at NASDAQ for ten years and recently landed her dream job, as a legal support professional at Fannie Mae, in Washington D.C. In addition to her beautiful children, Xavier and Jasmin, Sharon leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Irma R. Simon, her brother, Joseph R. Joubert, her sisters, Deborah A. Joubert, Angela S. Thornton and Michelle S. Ball. Sharon was predeceased in death by her father, Rufus W. Simon. She also leaves to cherish her memory, the special man in her life, Tommie McGhee, whom she loved very much. She also leaves Carl Hardison, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to cherish her memory. Sharon was a God fearing, beautiful, hardworking, fun loving, sweet spirited, incredible woman who left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She is deeply loved and will be missed, tremendously. Rest in Peace, Sis! We Love You! Until We Meet Again...
