Rene Carol Lynch

March 27, 1958 — April 22, 2015

Rene Carol Lynch, age 57, died at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Although taken entirely too soon, Rene managed to bring so much joy to so many and will be forever remembered for her radiant smile, giving nature, and youthful sense of humor.

Rene lived most of her life in Beaumont, TX with a short time spent in Alvin, TX where she lived with her husband Larry, daughter Amanda, and son Danny. During her time in Alvin, she received a degree in Mental Health and used these skills to council and care for so many over the years. She also spent several years working for SBC in Beaumont, TX.

Rene was known for her green thumb and kept a beautiful garden filled with things to eat, things to admire, and sentimental things collected on family trips. Her comforting and caring nature spread to all living things. Anyone with the pleasure of meeting Rene was treated with the same kindness she gave to friends or family. Her capacity to love was inspirational and the roots of her influence will continue to hold us together for years to come.

Per her wishes, Rene was cremated but a headstone will be placed in her honor next to her mother, Margaret Walters at China cemetery in China, TX. A memorial service was held in her honor on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26 in both Beaumont and Alvin, TX.

She is survived by her children Amanda Frost and Danny Lynch and their spouses Jeff Frost and Carrie Lynch, her sister and brother-in-law Cheryl and Ray Hillin, brother Robert McFarlane, her beloved dog Tulip, and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.

If you would like to make a contribution in her honor, the family requests that a donation to Southeast Texas Food Bank ( http://setxfoodbank.org/ ) or Family Services of Southeast Texas Women & Children's Shelter ( http://www.westrengthenfamilies.org/ ) be made.
