Randy Laughlin, 61, of Mauriceville, Texas passed away on October 17, 2016, at St. Elizabeth hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00p.m., Friday, October 21, 2016, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
Officiating will be Reverend Randy Branch, of Wesley United Church in Orange and Sharon Sabom, of First United Methodist Church in Mauriceville. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City.

Born in Greenville, Mississippi, on October 20, 1954, he was the son of Nathan Ben Laughlin and Thelma Lee (Cantrell) Laughlin. Randy was employed by Higman Marine for 43 years. He was a past member of the Propeller Club. He loved to fish, enjoyed traveling, and had been to all 50 states, He enjoyed going to the Orange Lions Club and attended 40+ years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Randy is preceded in death by his father, Nathan Ben Laughlin; brother, Timothy Wayne Laughlin; and his son, Timothy W. Laughlin.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 39 years, Elizabeth Ann (Hebert) Laughlin; his mother Thelma Lee(Cantrell) Laughlin of Orange; children, Courtney (Laughlin) Bates and husband Alan of Mauriceville, Lindsey Laughlin of Mauriceville, Nathan Laughlin of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Bradley Bates and Cheyenne Bates; siblings, David Laughlin and wife Roxanne of Little Cypress, Deanna Laughlin of Orange; mother-in-law, Janet Hebert of Mauriceville; sisters-in-law, Shannon Sanders and husband Jason and Brenda Ellison and husband Michael, of Mauriceville; brother-in-law, Michael Hebert and wife Debbie of Buna; aunt, Mary Sue Henson of Minden, LA,; uncles, Melvin Laughlin and wife Shirley of Bay City, Texas and Russell Laughlin and wife; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and traveling buddies, Mike and Stacey Crumpler of Bridge City.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Orange Christian Services or Orange Lions Club.
