She was born Jan. 8, 1967 in Beaumont, TX to James and Aleene Warner Myers.
Melissa is survived by her mother and step-father, Aleen and Charles Shoemaker, of Vidor; children Nicholas Johnson, of Missouri and Stephanie Myers of Vidor; brother, Kenneth Myers of Beaumont and DeWayne Shoemaker of Vidor; sisters, Cathy Kinney, Charlene Jones and Donna Phillips of Vidor and many friends.
