Loretta “Midge” Duhon, 91, of Colmesneil, Texas, and a former longtime resident of Bridge City, passed away on March 19, 2017, in Woodville, Texas.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on December 17, 1925, she was the daughter of Sidney and Anna Legnon. Midge was a member of Woodville United Methodist Church. She married her husband, Willis Duhon in 1942, before WWII. She raised dairy goats and had a great love for animals as well as people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willis Earl Duhon.
Midge is survived by her daughter, Dianne Duhon; her donkey, Eeyore; 3 cats; and numerous friends.
She will be buried next to her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home.
