Grace Ella (Zimdars) Priest

Grace Ella (Zimdars) Priest, 61, passed away October 25, 2014 at Harbor Hospice. She was born January 27, 1953 in West Bend, Wisconsin to Gerald B. and Dorothy A. (Baasch) Zimdars. She married James R. Priest on February 3, 1993 in West Bend. They then moved to Beaumont, Texas to settle down.
She worked most of her career as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant. She found time to attend and graduate Kaplan College as a Medical Office Specialist in 2011. She never had the chance to use the new title as her health started to fail.
Grace’s favorite past times were 11th Street Bingo and her pet children.
She is survived by her husband James R. Priest, sisters; Geraldine Hopper and Germaine London and husband Jimmy of Beaumont, Texas, brothers; Gerhard Zimdars and wife Julie, Gene Zimdars and wife Sandy, of Wisconsin.
She is also survived by her nephew; Major Jesse G. Zimdars and wife Alicia of Fort Dix, New Jersey, nieces; Dawn Hjorth and husband Justin of Bay City, Texas, Amanda Hanson and husband Aaron, Rachel Shaske and husband Greg, grandniece; Hannah Hjorth (Cheeto), grand nephews; D. L. “Trey” McMullens III and wife Toni, Luke Zimdars, Barry Zimdars, Sam Zimdars, P.F.C Taylor Wrey Baker, great grand nice; Kalynn Zimdars, great grand nephews; Wyette Zimdars, Liam Brooker, and Dimitri McCullers, and by other friends and relatives including Audrey and Nathan Rall.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Glenn and two nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
