Betty Hall Reindel Webb

Betty Hall Reindel Webb, 91, of Orange, Texas, passed away surrounded by her loving daughters and granddaughter on Wednesday, March 8, 2018 at her home. Services to honor Betty’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on March 11, 2018 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange with Pastor David Turner officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Parish Cemetery in Orange, Texas. Family and friends will gather for visitation on March 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Betty was born in Orange, Texas on March 4, 1927 to Robert C. and Mattie Kinard Hall. She graduated from Orange High School. She retired from DuPont in 1985 after 40 years of service. Betty loved her family and was instrumental in maintaining ties with large extended family gatherings from Texas to California. She was the last charter member of Little Cypress Baptist Church where she served faithfully and encouraged many. She was heavily involved in the music ministry and was one of the founders of the Joyful Noise choir. For years she prepared meals on Wednesdays for the church family.

Betty was an avid sports enthusiast. Besides following the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros, she played softball and bowled on several leagues back in the day. However, her favorite pastime was playing dominos and watching Wheel of Fortune. After retirement, she volunteered with the Grey Ladies of the Red Cross.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James B. Reindel and Rufus Webb; brothers, Daniel R. and Dr. Robert C. Hall; sisters, Katherine Wilkinson, Darlene Hindiyeh, Dorothy Hall, Elouise Ratcliff and Bobbie Hall.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Reindel Hudson and husband Eddie of Orange, Carol Reindel Edgerly and husband Rick of Wimberley; four grandchildren, Christina Eatman, Jesse Underwood, Ryan Underwood and Anthony Wardell; seven great granddaughters; and one great grandson.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Underwood, Anthony Wardell, Charles Cagle, Chad Cruse, Robert Hall and Carroll Teal.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Little Cypress Baptist Church at 3274 Little Cypress Drive, Orange, Texas 77632.
